[Looking at it from afar for longer, Edgeworth can see that the object in question is about human-sized, pink at one end and burgundy at the other. It's apparently some sort of sea creature that got beached, given the burgundy end quite clearly has a fish-like tail shape. As for the pink end, though... the appendages splayed out to either side look awfully long and not flat enough for fins... and is there some grey seaweed or something atop or in front of its head?]

Both hands are webbed halfway up the fingers, there's a short ridge-like fin down its back, gills are visible on the sides of its neck, and its upper body is definitely more of a rose pink than any human skin tone, but said upper body's build and hairstyle are definitely uncannily familiar...]
